RS forgeline widening the wheel ? Good/Bad ?
I currently run 17x 8 and 17x 9 wheels on my 86.
http://www.forgeline.com/wheels/sm_rs5polished.jpg
I want to run the 17x9s in the front and have my 17x8 modified to 17x10.
Has anyone had a wheel modified? Any catastrophes? Positives? Negatives?
If anyone knows of anyone selling 17x9's of this style or possibly a couple of 17x10s I would appreciate the lead.
Thanks

Do your homework for sure.
I personally would be very weary of having any wheel "widened" without very precise understanding of the process, result, weight difference, strength differences, etc
Most manufacturers can custom make wheels to your offest / width....... you just have to step up and write the check
