Doc, two thumbs up on the RS panels! I would have kept the top half stock, and just done the bottom 1/2, but it still looks good either way.

I also have the 968CS centre console.(minus the cup hold and anti-slip padding) Lightweight baby!

The top half is stock (just new covering), but in order to make the vinyl match, you have to do it all, or else you have a two toned door panel Oh, and I couldn't figure out how to make a seam between the two like the factory did.

Did you use the opening for the armrest top on the door panel to mount the pull strap?

Nope, if you look at the pictures, they are no where near each other. You cut a new hole, and also will drill a hole in the actual door to mount the strap.

Well, you need to attach the nylon strap to something with a bolt through it, so your only choice is to drill a hole in the inside door frame where the strap will go, and mount the strap to the door via a 6mm bolt.

Yup, I used a 6x1.0x20 IIRC (10mm wrench). You want the shortest bolt you can use. I used a nylock locking nut as well. You could use a standard bolt as well, something 1/4"

Update:

Finished the interior. Replaced the shiftboot, put in the seats and harnesses, and deleted the rear seat and replaced with carpet. i think I am happy with the interior for now....until I have the dash recovered......
