76 Supra Turbo Vs. 86 951
Was rolling home from business meetings yesterday on the interstate when a beautiful dark green 76 Supra Turbo pull up close to me at near 80 mph. I pulled over and let him pull aside and then we both nailed it. I had dropped it into third and was on 18 lbs of boost almost instantly. I immediatly started pulling him & was 2 car lengths ahead by 110. I was amazed that this older Supra turbo was that fast. I spoke with him brifly & he told me that the Supra was also running nitros, which to me explained how he was able to hold that close. I generally don't play with other cars, but this was open interstate in the middle of no where. Was kinda fun.

old supra with updated motor, no doubt?
or it could have been one of those old little celica supra type deals.
those things are badass, and can get pretty fast.
good kill.

I wonder if he meant '86. In 76 there was a Celica IIRC. Then you could option a 'Celica Supra'. Turbos were not available until the mid-80s and the Celica and Supra had evolved into seperate models.
