Default Clamps?

I am looking at getting new clamps for my intercooler and some other odd & ends, when I did my MAF I put on those ones that have a spring on the to always keep tension on them but I can't remember where I bought them, anyone? Also, a place that has good silicon for doing the a couple of pipes as well. I notice that my one clamp going into the intake manifold is broken (will only tighten a little before it skips/clicks and feel it not as tight) so I thought I would go ahead and do all of them. During this I think I will use my hand dandy vacuum leak tester I got at 944 Fest this year!!

I like www.hosetechniques.com Also you can buy t-bolt clamps (spring loaded or just regular) from plenty of places online and thru ebay...but your local Napa also carries them as well. Mike Murcia did a great post where he outlined what sizes he used for each connection.

Good luck!

Thanks Sam, I wasn't sure if they were some special thing or not. I am still not 100% on color to get. My turbo one is blue, but I will removing that later anyways so not sure if I should stick with blue or red like you have or just black??...

Id go red or black. Blue looks kind of strange under the hood a red car. but then again its all opinion really...

Not sure of the big difference but I know a couple of guys who would actually keep getting a leak on boost in the intercooler ones plus I know mine are OE so why not upgrade as well. While I am in there, I think I am going to paint my intercooler pipes as well. I am thinking of getting SS straight pipes but really haven't been anything to show improvements in power or anything. Mine are a little dull and faded in some areas.

If you have stock hard pipes I have a kit for doing the 4 main IC hoses. $150 + shipping with the clamps. It is Tial Sport silicone hoses in blue, red or black.

I had them for sale at the fest so you may know what they look like.

I'd highly recommend Samco couplers Link They are, hands down, the best brand I've ever used on any of my cars. Their hoses are very reinforced and durable. Heck, run these for intake and all coolant lines and you'll probably never have to replace anything!

Hard to beat Oetiker Stepless Screw Clamps for function, durability and affordability. You can get them through Aircraft Spruce.

Here is a really good thread that Mike had (https://rennlist.com/forums/showthread.php?t=258040). Lists the sizes and sources for the parts. Another place that has good prices on this stuff is ATP Turbo
