EXHAUST HARDWARE KITS ROUND 2
Its taken me a while to locate everything but great news - I have found sources for all of the parts of the Exhaust Hardware kit and we are a go for round 2!
Below are some details, feel free to ask questions. Respond here or PM me to get in on the order.
1) Kits will include both Turbo mount bolts (Porsche gets $20+ for these!)
2) All Studs (head to header, turbine outlet and downpipe outlet) will be replaced by the correct-length allen head set screw for simple install/removal.
3) $60 will be kit cost, shipping not included. A bit higher than the last run - no idea how Artie was able to get the prices he did. Some hard to find sizes here! Remember the Turbo mount bolts are included as well.
4) Hardware will come neatly packaged in heat sealed clear mylar, with each grouping of parts labeled for easy identification. This should help those guys who are going to buy the kit while it is available and leave it on the shelf until they need it (most of you I would think). It will be set up so that each group of like parts will be enclosed separately, so you can use what you need when you need it without having to open the whole kit. Should make it easier to store and use in the future. If you've ordered hardware from Lindsey, this is how they do it too.
5) The Copper lock nuts are still difficult to come by and will be the 1 type of item in the kit that takes the longest to get. I am anticipating a 3 week lead time on these, the rest should be here within 1-2 weeks of order.
6) Shipping will be a flat $9.99 to anywhere in the continental US. If you are international, PM me for shipping details. If you are local, PM me to arrange pickup.
7) Making a bunch of custom kits for people will be time consuming and error prone, so please don't ask me if I can get you a partial kit. Also, It will be difficult for me to handle people requesting extras of individual items (E.G. 10 extra M8 Copper lock nuts), as my vendors don't want to sell me anything in quantities less than 100. I can try to acommodate this but no guarantees. Tell me now before I actually make the order as once the orders have been placed it will be tougher.
So, those who are interested, chime in here, and if you post on any other forums and could let them know too, that will help make it happen. It will take ~3 weeks to get the items in, give or take a week. From there, it will take me approximately 1 week to organize, package and ship everything, so I'm expecting a 4-5 week turnaround from the time of order. If any problems come up in the supply chain, that date suffers, but I will make 100% certain to keep everyone informed every step of the way.
I'm not ready to start accepting payments yet, I will post when I am. Probably a few weeks out on that still, as I would rather not hold anyone's cash for longer than is absolutely necessary. Once I begin accepting payments, I will prefer payment via check or money order over Paypal, only because Paypal will charge me 3%. So, I'll take Paypal, but only if the buyer covers Paypal's fees.
