John Raysich Porsche Specialists in Bridgeville, outside of Pittsburgh. He is great, it's a family business, and he's affordable as well. I was always very happy with his work, and he would even usually accommodate my schedule restraints.

As Epic noted--Raysich is well-respected. There is also Exoticars on RT 51--their tech Peter used to work at Sewickly when the 944s were new and knows them quite well.

Just spoke to John at John Raysich Porsche...Excellent conversation...The guy is in the shop at 5:00AM, and sounds down to earth.
I am going to meet him in his shop first thing tomorrow morning.
Thxs again for the feedback.

hehe, if you want to make him really happy, bring something Belgian.
I know the Canadians think they have great beer, but for the absolute best, there are a handful of Czech, German, and Belgian beers that far surpass all others.

True that........
They LOVE the Belgian. There is a great drive thru distributor around the corner,
they have a nice selection of imports. One of John's favorites is Klef. But I'm sure he'd
appreciate the 8% canadian brew.
zoso......
how was your meeting? What are you having done?

Couple things......My favorite brew is Leffe...Brewed by Monks at one time in Belgium, today it s owned by Interbrew (Stella Artois).
I need the headers welded, brakes tweeked and powersteering/rack looked at.....Most important is the crack in the headers.
Overall, I am psyched to start working with John....I will keep you posted.

I'm looking for a 993, and I need a mechanic I can trust in Pittsburgh. I'm also a fanatic about Belgian beers. So I'm going to bump this thread TTT.
If anyone has any further comments on John Raysich, please let me know, either here or by PM.
Thank you very much!

I found his stamp in the maint book of the 2002 Boxster I bought. It was from 2008. I wonder if he has any further info or receipts. Either way, I googled the name and found a few very good references.
I'll ask for the records, and if anything unusual surfaces, I'm post it.
