This place is fine for doing simple things like the exhaust:

http://www.germanmotorwerks.com/

For more involved stuff I recommend either John Raysich Auto Specialties in Bridgeville or C and G Performance in Sewickley.

Any chance I could see the car after you have the exhaust installed, I'm thinking about one for myself and I really like to see how it sounds in person. By the way, if you bring it somewhere to have whatever welding is needed done, I'll be happy to show you how to install it and do it with you free of charge .

PM me if you want

Kurt and Epic, Do you guys have experience with John Raysich Auto Specialties in Bridgeville? Does he do timing belts? I need a good mechanic. I live in Belle Vernon, but Bridgeville is only 40-45 mins away. Thanks!

John did my belts exactly a week ago. Have you read this thread?

Hey Brian......Hope all is well. Did you get your boost problem figured out?

John Jr. did my belts about a month ago. Replaced timing & balance shaft belts and rollers, and all drive belts. $700

I apologize for bumping so old a post, but I was searching here for a mechanic in Pittsburgh, and I had to chime in.

I had German Motor Werks put new tires I got from the Tire Rack on my BMW 540i, and they scraped the paint off of three of the four wheels. Their work was completely unacceptable. Use them at your own risk!

Dave at DAVE'S in Braddock, PA (close to the Rankin in Braddock) is great on 944Turbos and other Porsches. I've seen GT2's , Ferrari's etc. at his place.

His telephone # is 412.351.0725

I think his rates are reasonable too, about $65 or $68/hr.

WOW.. Bridgeville. That brings back memories. I used to exit Bridgeville off I79 all the time to get home. That was way back in highschool though. Upper St. Clair. Drove a Fiero GT. LOL.
