Sorry I don't have any pics(no camera), but I measured the bar thickness ~25mm and went to Autozone and bought the 25mm/1'' polyurethane sway bar bushings for the bracket to body bushings. The only problem was that the bushings were made for noncircular mounts and the 951 mounts are circular. After careful measuring with a my digital caliper and benchgrinding, they were circular. They installed just like the old ones, that eventually rot out from engine leaks. So in a couple of hours I have a stiffer sway bar and bushings that won't rot from leaks for $22. It wasn't difficult and is kinda cheap compared to derlin. I also want to note, the KLA sway bar braces are kick *** mod, cheap too. What can I say I'm broke and bored.

I have the same project in mind. The only problem is finding the right core material to use. None of the autoparts stores have anything suitable on the shelves..

Also, Autozone has similarly sized round polyurethane bushings that will work for the stock sway bar end links (the "doughnuts" that connect to the stock control arm). They are slightly smaller but close enough that it shouldn't be a problem.

I made a few some years ago out of Delrin. I ordered a round of it from MSC. 15 minutes on the lathe and they were good to go. I've heard people complain of squeaking, but mine never made a peep. I think it cost about 12 bucks total.

What about having a machine shop cut some bronze bushings?
