Any other Tampa area 944 buffs wish to join, I have about 750 sq in of grill space...

I need a weekend to clean up the garage first, then I'll be ready for ya. May go ahead and get the TIG ordered. Let me check my tax return first though.

I made my own SS fuel lines by buying the ss line from a local GM dealer and just used the hoseclamps that look like AN fittings.

Why don`t you just cut of the old lines take them to a hydraulic shop and then they press a new set for you? .. No welding ..

There was a thread here not long ago where folks posted a [arts list for the lines. I believe John form Vitesse posted the part numbers.

summitracing.com also sells AN parts

I currently have the SFR lines with clamps and would really like to convert it to AN fittings if anyone makes a list of parts required.

Aren't a set of SS lines under $70 bucks or something? How long will these take to make? lol. I don't understand. I don't mean to bring you down or anything. Just wondering how much your time is worth.

The Lindsey SS lines are $139 which does have the compression fittings but still leaves one line clamped onto the FPR. Seems like stopping just short of a complete job to me. I am sure many here want AN fittings on all 4 ends of the 2 lines, not just 3. This would also of course need a FPR that accepts a fitting rather than clamp. I figure with the money saved from putting together your own kit, that would pay for at least half of a new FPR.

Excuse me. For some reason I passed up all the 'Fuel' line parts in the thread or replaced them with brake lines. lol. I thought everyone was going to be making brake lines. Wow. Sorry. Fuel lines, go for it. I've got a set of Pauerman lines, paid a decent amount for them but well worth it.

Would anyone care to tell me where to get the parts needed to make my SFR supply line have compression fittings? Sorry to hijack, just I don't understand what does what.
