Oil Pump Gear (pic)

My oil pump gear is protruding out about 3.35 mil is this normal?
Should it be flat against the seal?

yep sure is. have you got the oil seal that goes in between your crank and oil pump

its normal

Do you mean? PET- number 900-174-049-40 seal? yes I do...
