Default Torsion Bar Markings

Does someone have the specs for the following torsion bar - the end is stamped 1228 1299 L - I figure L is the lefthand side, but what is the spring rate?

cheers

My former Sway-A-Way bars were stamped 1228, and were 28mm bars which are rated at ~235 pounds.

thanks for that - I should have been a bit quicker and measured the diameter before they went back in

The 'L' is for left as they have to go in to the side they're designed for. By the way the car in your avatar looks like mine which as far as I knew is a metallic Slate-grey colour not Silver-rose? It looks like you've done something to your suspension though as it's nice and flat, or maybe that's a cooling down lap.

Definitely a Silver Rose and the suspension is stock M030 but with 30/19mm swaybars - the bars were good for over a second a lap

Well maybe that is my car as you have the same suspension too. I guess the Silver Rose and the Slate Grey metallic look similar. Nice photo too. I am going to upgrade to a KW suspension system soon so I'll have my Mo30 stuff up for sale in the near future.
