Default Wheel Fitment (Will These Fit)

Long time browser first time poster.
Can someone give me a solid answer if these will fit a 86 944 Turbo? My car was made May of 1986 according to the sticker. I notice the seller has offset listed and I am guessing that is marked ot the wheel along with width?? I am thinking about 205's front and 255 rears on an otherwise stock car. Thanks in Advance. Bob

Ps the seller seems pretty straight up as he posted a picture of the scab

If you have an 86 you will need 21mm spacers in front, 28mm spacers in back, and longer wheel studs. If you have an 87, it will fit without spacers

Thanks for the reply. Would I need to replace the spacers that are now on the car or add additional ones? And does anyone here sell the rights spacers and lugs as a kit? Thanks again.

I am in the same boat - have an '86 951 and I was also looking at some wheel replacements. Here's a good source: http://members.rennlist.com/951_racerx/.

Check out the section about spacers on 86 and earlier cars.

Thanks for the great link to that site. Will make getting spacers and lugs much easier!

consider the hubcentric H&R spacers with their built-in new bolts. (Got mine at Livermore Perf. I think) I use 21s and 35s but my 18" Twists are different sizes than ones you're looking at. No issues... but be aware you're adding unsprung weight.
