Default Aftermarket Chip... Banjo bolt..proper boost?

The previous owner said that there were Autothority chips installed, well I just had to find out for myself. Below is a picutre of the KLR chip, the sticker thing was laying on the chip. It looks aftermarket right? probably autothority? The DME looks the same.

Here is a picture of the banjo bolt. Is it correct that I should be running 15psi with the banjo bolt installed? Because my stock gauge shows I'm only running 1.75 bar which is stock boost, 11-12 psi. Is it bad to be running stock boost when I have aftermarket chips? Any reasons why i'm not getting 15psi?

Thanks,

Alex

Alex,
The chips are most likely autothority. You need to pull the banjo bolt and check to see if it is jetted, it should be jetted which will get you 15psi. If its the stock banjo bolt you may only be getting stock boost.

I took out my banjo bolt and it doesn't have the restrictor piece in the end so it must be stock which would be the reason for only getting stock boost. Would running this way be bad for the engine? I'm assuming I would be running rich if I have chips and the boost isn't set at 15 psi. So, does anyone have a jetted banjo bolt?? or know where I can get one?

Alex,
You can use a manual boost controller set to 15psi. This is actually how i would do it if you don't have the jettet banjo bolt.

Not that I'm aware of. People have been using them with the stock WG for a long time.
