Hi,
Anybody have any tricks for removing the front section of a stock exhaust system. (The area from the exhaust flange back to the cat.). I have removed all 3 flange bolts, and disconnected the wastegate dump pipe. The exhaust drops from the flange, but I cannot seem to get it past the bellhousing. Anybody have any tricks? Did an archive search and didn't find anything helpful.
Thanks,
Dave

Drop the rear section of the pipe down, and as you are removing it, twist it towards the passenger side, and it should come right out.

Thanks Doc, worked like a charm.
I originally didn't have the car up high enough on the jack stands, and then the stand on the passenger side got in the way. After I relocated it, the pipe swiveled off no problem.
