Where is this and can this be used for EGT probe point?

Here is the location of the port. Sorry about the pic quality. Can't see why you couldn't use it for a probe. Mounting it might be a little difficult though.

I don't think it would be as accurate as say the #4 runner on the header. I think the point to having a EGT probe is because you want to know how hot the exhaust gases are getting. The #4 runner on the header is the hottest point, so I have heard.

Plus I have heard that you want to mount it much closer to the engine itself and not down that far on the exhaust. If you read it there, you will read a much lower number then what you really have, a VERY bad thing when fine tuning!

actually in a thread that ST posted in he later identified the #2 runner as the hottest one. I think the threat was like T.o.T or T.i.T?
