Yea, my radiator fluid is blue. I'm going to check it out today. It's a slow drip, I'll know more later.

Check your coolant cap. The rubber dries up and is no longer air-tight, which can cause the fluid to boil over a little. Mine did that every time I raced somebody or drove it hard, just a little coolant on the road right after. A new cap cured it....

A simmilar thing happened to me when I was on my bike, but there was also a ninja in the third lane. I played along for one light, with the ninja kicking everyones ***.
The next light they both took off at full tilt, but I was smart enough to notice the unmarked cop car that had just turned onto the road in front of us.
I had a good laugh over that one.

"Just found a blue puddle of radiator fluid under the water pump area..."

If the bleeder valve is leaking it shows up as a puddle under the turbo... a new bleeder seal fixed mine...whew! Bruce

My leak is directly underneath the water pump, I'm hoping it's just a hose leak. I'll check the bleeder valve after I get in there to inspect it. Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it.

Well,
I removed the air box and AFM, jacked up the car and put it on jackstands, removed both sheilds underneath for my visual inspection. All I could think about was all the expense I was about to encounter if the watepump was indeed the culprit. I am so happy!!!!!! The windsheild wiper fluid reservor has a pin hole leak. It's got blue fluid. I feel kinda stupid but. . . .I don't care. Thank God!!

^^^ Empty it and hit it with a Soldering Iron. It will weld the hole shut.

Well i may be walking into some deep water with this comment but here goes: I dont see anything wrong with racing someone once and while if theres no one around. If he was hitting it for a few lights then there probably wasnt many cars around so it was probably prety safe. And we have fast cars why not use emm? track days are few and far between for where i live so little races (nothing past 100mph and when no ones around) are what keep me happy. I figure as long as your (somewhat) safe and not stupid then what can you hurt?

But i second the ricer thing, i felt bad for pulling on a neon r/t in 5th gear and beating him while he was in 3rd last night but what can ya do?

smac glad to hear about your car!!! don you love easy/cheap fixes?

BTW, Blue coolant (only blue coolant I have seen) is BMW factory coolabnt (made by pentosin)

Also, I really like the 5.0 Mustang the SBF is one of the best sounding motors ever made. Not to mention 5.0 parts are so cheap that you cannot love but to see the prices for them. Also, around here in ohio the mustang is king of the streets from any speed. I have also been impressed with a few road racing mustangs. Sure they don't handle like a 944 but can still pull off great laptimes due to the amount of engine some of them have under the hood.
