Default Nice 1988 951 for sale

Hey guys,
I usually hang out in the race or 996 forums but I’m in the process of helping the kids of a close friend sell his beautiful 951. My friend passed away a month after purchasing the turbo last winter. The car was brought out of Florida in 2000 and built by the owner of AutoEdge racing in Minnesota and his son. For those of you that don’t know AutoEdge, they are one of the top independent Porsche shops in the mid-west and specialize in building fast 944s for both the track and the street. We have full records for the car. I plan to put it in the classifieds but thought I’d post it here first.

Exterior Details
GT-Racing 951 Turbo Cup front bumper
GT-Racing 951 light-weight euro rear bumper
GT-Racing 924 Carrera GT headlight buckets modified to fit 951

Koni Sport adjustable shocks and struts
Height Adjustable coilovers
300lb Hypercoil springs

ATS Motorsports 7.5x18 Front & 9.5x18 rear wheels

KKK K26/K27 Max Flow hybrid Turbo charger

AC delete bracket for alternator
Under-drive power steering pump
Custom Cold Air Intake by Mike at QPR
K&N cone air filter
Autothority Stage 2 Chips
Performance tuning by Auto Edge
Cam carrier powder coated red w/ machined Porsche logo
Cam gear cover powder coated flat black

Interior
Autometer Elec. Boost/Vacuum Gauge
Autometer Elec. Air/Fuel Gauge
9Xauto 944 Pillar Pod
9Xauto 944 silver/black Shift **** w/boot
Momo Montecarlo steering wheel

Custom brushed aluminum painted vents and door handles

I’m hoping to get the $14K that my friend paid for the car back for the kids. Any guidance you can give me a selling this car would be appreciated.

Jim

The car is really nice in person and AutoEdge definitely knows 944's.

Unfortunately my friend took the mirrors off when he bought it. I'm not sure what happened to them.

They were sort of cool. Carbon Fiber F1 like mirrors but looked out of place on the car. It looks better with the stock mirrors.
