i recall seeing one in a showroom back in like, 94. loved the car but frankly, the engine left much to be desired w/ 236 hp (same as the 968 engine).... imagine if that 20 valve, 5 cylinder had been built with say, 3.2 litres of displacement running a turbine.

 

The RS2 engine has 315 bhp.

 

There is a really well built 951 with a 5 cyl Audi 2,2 turbo engine for sale here in Sweden. It produces 700~ hp...

The owner had a really nice build thread on a swedish site a while back.

He also used a Supra geabox mated directly to the motor. This isn't plug and play.
