Here's the black paint I used. Made for painting engines, available at Canadian Tire.

You do know that unless you have used an etching primer that the paint will not stick permanently?
Aluminum will flake paint unless acid etched w primer.

A friend recently told me that Alumunum Mag Cleaner will make the cam housing look like new. I like the painted look though. Looking good!

i've had high temp engine paint on my manifold and cam tower for several years, no etching and no flaking either. YMMV.

I did my cam tower with a brush and black high temp. Of course I am an artist and good with a brush but it was a pain reaching everything. I just took my time and it came out great. No pics yet. I also painted everything in the engine bay black (car was gold). I replaced the coolant tank with a new one and cleaned everything. Big improvement
