Back in the saddle again - finally!
Well, up until yesterday I had been Porscheless for 1 year, 2 months and 3 days. Before that time I had been planning on selling my 944 n/a and getting a C4 corvette; then I drove my friend's dad's e36 m3 and was pretty set on one of those.
At this point in the story I'd like to thank both porshhhh951 and ApexCars here on the forum for letting me ride in/drive their 951s after which I ditched the m3 and vette idea and was totally hooked on getting a 951. Thanks again guys, I appreciate your generosity.
I had been planning on getting a 951 sooner but had a few financial setbacks along the way and ended up having to spend less on a car than I had originally planned, but either way, I have my 951 now. Its a Copenhagen Blue '86 with linen interior and polished fuchs - its slightly cosmetically challenged, but those things can be fairly easily fixed; it is mechanically sound, rebuilt engine and lots of recent maintenance. I wish I could post some pics, but I don't have a digi cam and probably won't spend to money on one any time soon as my money will go to cleaning up the car.
I had said to myself that once I bought a 951 I'd become a rennlist member, so I guess I'll be doing that now

I'll be sure to post pics as soon as I get some, but I have no idea when that will be - I have to go back to Waco later this month and plenty of my friends down there have digi cams, so latest by then.
Thanks again for the ride, both of yall. It was great meeting/talking with yall and I look forward to the next dfw gtg which I will hopefully be able to attend

I am glad to see that you are still enjoying your 951.....That was a nice running car.
I would have had credit for your first boosted 951 ride but I wasn't getting any boost when we took it out....I don't remember why but it was something dumb that I fixed as soon as you left
I hope "white lightning" is still treating you right!
