My tial loosened up on me as well, But when my gaskets failed I loved the sound at full boost!
The woosh on the pit straight at the shenondoah circut at Summit point was a great sound!
I prefer having the leak fixed however.

So, yes, the gaskets that come with the Tial wastegates are COMPLETE CRAP! I probably have less than 1000 miles on the car since I installed the Tial. I loctited the bejesus out of the 8 main bolts, but the adapter bolts looked like they had no loctite on them, so make sure you loctite those!!!
I'm going to order the copper gaskets from SFR and go from there...

we Use high temp Copper Gasket. (Silicone squeeze tube.) let it set for a little while first. It will hold until you loosen the bolts. (As long as the mating surfaces are flat.) I never thought it would work better than gaskets until I started using it. Holds every time under Hard track use.

I just fitted my new Tial yesterday, so I coated everything with Loctite Copper Maxx Silicone. I always use it on exhaust stuff and never get a leak. This will be a good test for it.

I have my tial installed for three years now no problems, with stock gaskets that came with the wg, plus one factory gasket. A retorque is a must after a few heat cycles! On the bolts holding the plates to the in pipe and exhaust side.

Wow, I went for a 2nd test drive yesterday, got 5 minutes up the road and the car got noisey. I done 1 boost run and went home, jacked the car up and found all the bolts from the exhaust side to the adaptor plate were loose, and 1 had dropped out.
I have got some spring washers to try before I start drilling and lockwiring.
