Default A big thanks to Motronic Enhancements for my 951 chips!

I just wanted to spread the word about my positive experience with Motronic Enhancements. Rennlist member "Hally" is the contact and he was extremely helpful in getting some custom chips burned for my 951. I have a MAF and wanted to run larger injectors in preparation for a turbo upgrade coming soon. Hally set me up with a set of chips that matched the transfer function of my MAF so there was no need for signal massaging like some other MAF kits. With proper fuel scaling on the chip, the car runs great using the larger injectors too. Hally's communication was execllent, as was shipping. In addition to the injector scaling and MAF support, Hally was also able to add a little more fuel in the upper RPMs to compensate for my aftermarket wastegate.

I recently got my wideband installed and did a little datalogging to check my A/F ratios and they looked quite good:

I have not yet dynoed the car, but I now know that the car has a great baseline fuel curve to start with and is safe to drive without blowing the dreaded HG.

Final verdict: I would highly recommend Motronic Enhancements for those looking for 951 chips. The product and service quality is outstanding, and the price can literally not be beat. Thanks Hally!

Nice Mike! Glad to hear you had a positive experience. Which turbo are you running right now? I'm looking forward to seeing how his chips will work with my soon to be delivered K26/8!

To answer a few questions: I have an Autothority MAF, which most of us know is a Pro-M MAF with an Autothority sticker on it. I'm currently running the stock turbo, as I wanted to get used to the WB and Piggyback on a stock car before making the turbo upgrade.

Motronic Enhancements is located "Down Under" in Melbourne, Australia. There is not much of a web site, but rather a page for contact information. Here it is:

http://gregorh.customer.netspace.net.au/motronic/
gregor_hall@yahoo.com.au

By the ad he has placed in the RL classifieds, he is now charging $140 shipped and the shipping time was faster than I expected coming from Australia. Hopefully I have not created too much of a disturbance for Hally. By the looks of my PM box, he will be doing a lot of business soon.

I doubt it, Hally really sounds like he knows what he's doing. I spoke to him via PM about burning some chips for me. Smart guy!

The x-axis is not RPM, but rather data point number. I'll try to pull together the data with RPM on the x-axis later today or tomorrow.

As mike has already stated in his previous posts, RM: Hally completely kicks ***. I've had the pleasure of exchanging a good deal of converstation with him via email on the subject of his MAF chips. I have a set, which I will be testing within the upcoming weeks on a pretty bold setup (if I do say so myself). He has some great ideas which hes incoporated into his chip software (I'll leave it up to Gregor to disclose what he wishes). Shipping was super fast, support is excellent and hes a pleasure to talk to. I couldnt be more pleased except by once my car starts for the first time in a year.... but thats just plain different.

Hally,

We've spoke before about your chips, but I can't remember your answer. Your maf chips like the Vitesse chips use a transfer function correct? Does this feature give one the ability to lower or raise boost and still be able to retain a constant afr? Is this what allows that to happen? How do your chips act with larger injectors?

TIA
