Anyone talked with Rage lately?

Just came accross this. I forgot how much he has done to his car.

And notice the "28" psi!!! See, with good tuning, anything is possible

0-60 : 5.5s (not a typo... turbolag!)
1/4 Mile : 12.7@117mph (street tires, 25psi, traction limited RaceCity 3700ft elevation)
RCMP Laptime : 1:29.8 (pump fuel, street tires).

Performance (2.8L) :
1/4 Mile : 12.9@112mph (street tires, 15psi RaceCity 3700ft elevation)

I beleive it was because he was using stock connecting rods

I had non-forged rods (regular on 91 models) no "rarst" written on them. and I did same amount of boost and nothing bend etc.. but I did not have stroker but stock engine! 550nm

No.

Rage has said MANY times that he revs very high.
High revs is MUCH, MUCH harder on the engine than high boost.

That is true. Can you imagine forces that are present in a F1 car revving at 19K?

the crank must be super strong to survive.

I have read that the air in the intake manifold is approaching mach speeds by the time it gets to the valve. Crazy.
