Default Possible vac leak? Autometer Boost Gauge?

I have had a vac leak for a couple of years and still have not been able to cure it. I have replace the intake gaskets, rebuilt the throttle body, replace all the hoses under the intake, the hose to the wastegate, injector o-rings, and converted the vac hoses to silicone. The last place that I think there could be a leak is where I tapped into the klr line for my LINK module and my boost gauge. I have had an autometer gauge that I used the 1/8'' line with it and tapped into the 3/16 klr line and I'm afraid its leaking from one of the brass ferule connections...or the vac line that the LINK is tapped into the klr line.

What I am curious about , is how other people tapped their boost gauges in and if they used the brass ferules with 1/8'' or 3/16'' hard line? I cannot find a place in Lubbock or online that I can get the 3/16 hard line for the klr. I've seriously considered Laust's intake fitting and if I do use that, what type and where do I get the line to run a boose gauge, klr, and LINK in my car?

any help would be greatly appreciated

-Chris

you can get a replacement KLR line from here : http://944online.com/cgi-local/ASI_S...ystem-944turbo the rest should be able to use the silicone line like you have already run and just use a couple of ports from the laust manifold.

Nothing fancy for me. Rubber vacuum line and zip ties. Have you resealed your throttle body and checked your ISV for leaks?

I went to my local OSH Hardware store, the hardware guy helped me build my own brass Tee fitting. We used a 1/8" brass threaded Tee, to that we added 3/16" compression fittings for the KLR line(in and out), then a 1/8" compression fitting for the boost guage line.

My VDO gauge leaked right at the back of the meter, hissed like hell. I tried several times to seal it and finally had to use a super sticky butyl rubber tape...it was the ferrule that was leaking.

I thought I remember reading that Jeremy Himsel had a problem with his autometer boost gauge
But I think that it had to do with the reading and not a leak ??
I can tell ya this, he aint a big fan of Autometer

I tapped my boost gauge off the line to the fuel pressure regulator (as the factory suggests). After buying and replacing the KLR hard line in the past, I didn't want to take a chance on damaging it. Just means I had to run a flexible line through the firewall, which wasn't too bad.
