Default Where to find Custom Wheels for 86' 951

I'm not having much luck finding early offset custom 86' 951 wheels. Where do you guys get your aftermarket wheels? I looked in the rennlist classifieds, but came up empty handed.

I was hoping to find custom offsets, instead of the usual 23mm ET, perhaps some 30mm ET, or 35 mm ET, on 17x9j or 16x9j front wheels would be really nice. Thanks,

I got mine from Discount Tire years ago. They're Hartmann wheels with a built-in spacer.

Try Fikse - I have FM10's 17x9 & 17x10's in high polish forged. All wheels are bespoke (custom offset) - a little pricey but well worth it for durability, strength and cool factor.

Thanks! I never get tired of looking at them - they are a bich to clean though.... here's a slightly better shot:

Also, the guys at Fikse are 100% pros and extremely helpful...

I'd also check out Foregeline (www.foregline.com) - I have three sets of their wheels for my 951S race car and am very happy with fit, finish, quality, weight and appearance.

Here's a couple of pictures:

I had recently ordered a set of 4- 16 x 8 23mm offset CCW wheels for my 86 951 race car. CCW offers a bunch of different styles, finishes and are three piece.16-18" with any offset are available.

The Fikse FM-5's have been my favorite for a long time, I keep watching for a used set to come up for sale.

I've gone as wide as a 17x9 turbo twist replica with 255/40/17's. I also have Paragon's coilover kit for my Koni's, so the springs provide a little more room. I've heard of a few others going wider, but I'm not sure exactly how wide.

Your car looks great Michelle!

CCW builds a great light 3-piece wheel w/ forged centers at a decent price. Their 1-piece forged wheels are even lighter but limit the options on width and offset. John can build just about anything you need in a 3-piece with the ability to replace just 1/2 of the rim if you ever bend one. I've been very pleased with mine and still like the semi-stealth look of the black anodized centers. I run 255/40-17 and 275/40-17 with no rubbing unless under extremely sharp downhill turns with hard braking on rough roads. The rears never rub and I could probably add 21mm spacers if I wanted.
