Don't have any quantitative data, but the physics are simple - same as thermal-wrapping the crossover pipe. Anything you can do to keep energy contained within the system (rather than bleeding off to the outside) will benefit you. Change from thermal (heat) energy plus kinetic energy (air molecules) to rotational kinetic energy (turbine wheel). If you start with more thermal energy to start with (a hotter charge) you'll get more power after the conversion and any loss.
