Wife says "no extra 951 engine", must sell Shortblock: $550
Anyone in the Austin, Texas area intersted? I don't have pictures yet, still need to pick it up from the shop where it is as I JUST bought it
It's a complete shortblock that I planned to disassemble before planting into a not-yet-purchased 951. She doesn't like the idea of two extra engines sitting around, but for $550, It was hard to go wrong, but somehow I managed I can dust it off & provide numbers to anyone who is interested. This was a popped t-belt case where the car received a rebuilt engine from somewhere, so the engine was pulled out & sat indoors for a few years before I found it snooping around among other 944 stuff.
FWIW, AAA cooper can ship for about $120 if you ask them about 1/2 off their first trip under your name (as a new client): this is no longer offered, and whoever you talk to will scratch his head on this, but eventually, if you state that it was a deciding factor, you should get very close to this number.
PM Me if interested, or email as well.

And she'll say "no __________________".
The guy ALWAYS loses in these situations, unless he finds a mistress or a good hooker. Even if he does, the resulting divorce always results in the guy losing anyway.
