Post 944 Turbo on Ebay Fake????

Looks like the specs from Tony G's car, even posted the same Gtech pics.

Does anyone know anything about this?

looks like a fake; same dyno charts, but he "cleverly" changed Tony to Lucius

also, I do remember seeing those pics on e-bay before and I do remember the spinal stenosis story as well...whatever - I wouldn't bid on it

Its not even that clever. If you look hard you can see a white box with his name in it covering up the "Tony". and he is in WA, 616 area code (on the Dyno graph) is like grand rapids area isnt it? thats a long way for a dyno.

Look at the pic of the maf.....the engine bay is silver in that pic. Too bad the car is original blue.

I sent the assclown an email calling him out. I even sent him a link to Tony's website but we all know he already has it.

What a tool.....

Anybody notice that one pic has an airbag dash and the other doesn't? Also the same with the maf!

Got a response from the seller. He is claiming his auction is legit. He implied that he got the photo's from Derrik Huntley and that they are his cars results. I replied and asked directly "where did you get the photo's". We'll see.

Yahoo shows 616 as Los Angeles area. It makes sense, with Willow Springs raceway being in California. Thats a looooong drive for a dyno pull!

Huh, where's the intake?

Alert the high bidder...

I asked a few questions this morning and here's the answer I got

I responded "why are the dyno results were from California?" Waiting for response.

Well, well, well. After trading several emails with the seller I am starting to believe that he is acting in good faith. He is adament about the fact that Derrik sent him the dyno chart and Gtech pics. He allegedly just tried to contact Huntley Racing and found out they don't exsist. He claims to be car ignorant and is just going off of what was told to him by Huntley.

I asked him to revise his auction again. If he does not do so I will contact the high bidder and the next couple in line. I have already contacted Ebay. Twice.

It actually says 661 (rather than 616) -- still So. Cal.

The dyno graph shows the exact same date and time as Tony's graph -- maybe he bought it from Tony?

The car is an 86 (with correct 160mph speedo) -- but has an airbag steering wheel?

Points to Lindsey's site to exlain mods to his car -- even though it apparently has no Lindsey parts? He's also seemingly clueless about what it takes to make the kind of power he claims... must be a hell of a banjo bolt to make 400 to the wheels.

Non-86 wheels could be retrofits I guess, but the offsets would be wrong...

What is the scam...he keeps the deposit money and runs?
