John, Thanks for the reply. I've read posts where you said that your chips operate in "closed-loop". Is that all the time? Doesn't that mean that the chips are operating blind of the o2 sensor? Can you expound on that? Pros/Cons?

I don't want to come off as even pretending to know the intricacies of Vitesse goodies, but I do know that closed-loop means he IS using the oxygen sensor (closed-loop in this case means feeding back the oxygen sensor signal to the computer). Open-loop means he is ignoring the oxygen sensor (i.e. he is running blind of the O2 sensor). I believe closed-loop is the way to be, and is one of the reasons his system lets you change boost level without needing to reprogram chips.

you're probably right. I thought I read someone talking about unplugging their oxygen sensor to run in closed loop though.. so it got me confused

Vitesse software operates in closed loop same as the factory did. Idle & PT are in closed loop. WOT is Open Loop.
