If I could get it working right, what is the advantage of the dual port mode? I am tempted to just plumb in the MBC in the boost line and try it that way.

I have used my Tial in single port mode with an Accuboost, then switched to a "black ****" controller and dual port mode, spool up dropped 200 rpm.

Yep the discharge is OUT---> the side of the TIAL and the inlet is IN the bottom. Exactly opposite of the stock wastegate.

As for having to beat the wastegate off. I sprayed everything down with deep creep a second time once I had the bolts off and let is sit overnight and all it took was two taps from a hammer and it popped right off. I do realize that I was "prolly" very lucky in that respect but the deep creep is the best soak in penetrant I have found.

Also replacing the 3 bolt flange on the inlet side and replacing the 2 bolt flange on the discharge with stainless steel bolts from home depot lolol. replacing the exhuast in a couple of months anyways.
