Will do. I have that TEC blanket and the DEI wrap kit. I will only go for this if it's more cost effective and easier to install. By that I mean, I won't get ripped off, so you guys won't either.

For real, I want to send my header/x-over/hotside housing/DP to get the composite wrap. That really sounds like the ticket. But those custom blankets really seem like they could be a good find for most of us.

That said, the concept is sound, but I suspect that doing custom tayloring of heat blankets is not at all gonna be cheap. Maybe simple bags or envelopes can be fashioned to cover each the turbo, the headers, and the crossover pipe, respectively.

Has anything ever developed on this? I have my engine out and was looking for some heat wrap solutions and this sounds like exactaly what I'm after.
