Default Dripping Brake Bias Valve.....

My brake bias valve coming off the master cylinder is starting to have a little drip here and there. I tried taking it apart to clean it up and put another o-ring on it but no matter how hard I tried it wouldn't come apart. Does anyone have any tricks to get the top part above the o-ring to unscrew? Or where is the cheapest place to get one? I saw it in lindsey racing but I was hoping there would be a cheaper place. On my old 951, I took it apart and just cleaned it up and put a new o-ring on it and it never leaked again.

My car did that same exact thing. What I did was tried to reseal it, but it started leaking again. Luckily my roommate still had the one from his parts '86 951, so I put it on and no leaks. I would just buy another bias valve on ebay, paragon, pelican, or if they don't have it, try oklahoma foreign and partsheaven. I don't know why those o-rings go bad like that. In order to get the bias valve off the master cylinder you need an 11 or 10mm line wrench, and a crescent wrench. Back up the brake line going into the bias valve and break it loose, then pull off the reservoir, just pull on it carefully and get the crescent and break the valve loose on the master cylinder. Put it all back together and bleed the brakes.
