Default Guru chip FQS settings/info - help please?

I did a quick search, and also checked out 951_racerx's web page, but didn't find what I am curious about. I currently have Guru v9.0 chips and am running stock injectors. I thought I'd read somewhere on here that the Guru chips use the FQS setting for different size injectors. Does anyone know if this is the case??? Or is the FQS setting used for different grade fuels with the Guru chips, just as stock? If anyone can point me to some documentation, that would be great.

I got some 55# injectors with a Vitesse MAF kit and I'd like to be able to do a direct comparison between the two versions of software. I have both AFM as well as MAF maps in John's setup, but both images are for 55# injectors, so I'm wondering if I can run the Guru chips I have with 55# injectors. I'm wanting to do the comparison with the stock AFM/airbox (I don't have a Guru MAF setup).

This is from memory, but here goes (I'll see if I can find the instructions when I get home).

#0 - 33lb/hr stock injectors
#1 - 33lb/hr stock injectors with ignition retarded for 18psi
#2 - 55lb/hr
#3 - 55lb/hr ignition retarded for 18psi
#4 - 72lb/hr
#5 - 72lb/hr ignition retarded for 18psi

Like I said...i'll see if I can dig up the instructions later tonight to verify.

Mike:

"325HP@5800rpm/305lb/ft @4400rpm - 19psi
M030, Guru MAP Stage II,A.I.R Fiberglass Bumper,TO4E 50 Trim #8 Hotside Turbo, 55lb injectors,Total Seal Piston Rings, Reliaboost,Tial 38mm,"

I would have expected a little better numbers with that turbo and 19psi.

I know a couple people in here have gotten almost or at 300whp with 20psi and stock turbo. I would expect that O4E to be making more. Certainly more tq.

Still tuning it?

Yeah....three things

1) I was on a dynapack which is a little stingy compared to the dynojets that most folks use
2) I have some horrible cracks in the headers that is definitely costing me some HP.
3)I stopped the run at 5800rpm instead of 6200-6400 like most folks. HP was still rising when I cut it off. I'm a wussy and didn't want to grenade the car.

Air/Fuel was around 12:1 all the way up and I was holding boost really well, so I think that if I fixed the header and played with the timing I could have done better.

I just got my Vitesse MAF kit last night, so hopefully I'll get that installed and we'll see if Vitesse's tunigng can provide better numbers.....and I may even get around to fixing those headers although I'm not looking forward to that project.
