Have you seen the fiberglass Le Mans wing? It is a little deeper and longer than stock, but the same overall shape and look...made out of fiberglass so it is paintable.

Daniel, I understand your point on costs, but honestly I think that thing for the 944 that sorta looks like the 968TRS wing looks really bad. Too fast and furious for me. I understand what they were trying to do, but it doesn't look good. Maybe better pics of it from different angles and in a finished paint state would change my mind, but I doubt it.........

Thanks for working on the GB.
I agree with the fast and furious comment. Daniel - would you be willing to call and find out if their 944 wing is in fact a differnt shape than their 968 TRS wing made for the 968, or should I. Not sure if they want to get bombarded with questions from a million different people re: this GB. Either way is fine with me - thanks for your work on this.

Another option for the trim may be GT Racing. They used to sell the set of 3 trim peices for $390. Not sure if they still sell them.

Winslow, (horsepowerfarm) had it on his car, looked very good from what I could see in the photos from Fest.

If we can get this (exact) replica in the GB...

including trim pieces, and preferably in fiberglass (I'm painting mine, and weight savings aren't worth the money), I'm in. That is, assuming the price is good. I don't care if I have to do the standard work to get 968 wing parts to fit a 951 hatch.

From their website, the true replica of the 968TRS wing retails for $800 in fiberglass + trim pieces. Assuming a 20% discount for the GB, I'll buy one kit for $640 + trim. Does AIR make/sell the FG trim pieces, or would we have to source those elsewhere (GT Racing)?

Now the question is should I try to sneak a vented nose in with the GB at the 20% off rate. $1000+ worth of body parts for a car that doesn't even run yet? On top of the ~$500 I paid for the 968 mirrors already? Sure, why not! Its not like I have to still buy track wheels and rubber or anything.

I agree with Dan. If we can get the 968 TRS wing for $640+trim, I'm in.

How would that 968TRS wing in flat or satin black paint look on my gloss black car? My AIR front splitter is flat/satin black and I'm thinking I should either match the wing parts to it, or just paint everything gloss so that it matches.

Next cosmetic item on the list? 3M clear bra.

I'm with Dan. And I checked the GT Racing catalog last night and didn't see the 968 replica wing or the trim peices....

Let us know what the deal is on this, thanks!
