Hood strut disposal
I replaced my hood struts (so it my car doesn't try to crush my head out of spite 
) and I was wondering if there was a "proper" way to dispose of the struts in the US. Not that I'd feel bad about dumping them in the trash but they had little blurb about following appropriate disposal rules.
