Okay fellas,
A bit of arguing about which is the best head gasket to use with the O-ringed head. I should have also told you that it is a stock bottom end 2.5L. I read that as you enlarge the displacement you run the risck of having the cylinders getting out of round. Not the case for my car, just a 2.5L. Maybe this will help find an answer to the original question.
What is the best HG to use with an O-ringed head? Let me know, thanks.

If you have no sealing problems (yet), then don't change anything. But when you start using coolant (and you will... it's just a question of when), go directly to the Cometic.
Also, I would recommend several retorques of those head studs (which is why I only use factory studs these days).

I use the new snap-on techwrench (digital). I hate the click-type. Even the beam type is better then the click type because you can hold the wrench at the specified torque (with a click type you can't).

Correction. I don't know what gasket you're currently using, so I shouldn't have said that, or implied that, your head gasket will be a problem. The assumption (yes I know...) was that you currently have a wide-fire gasket installed.
Sorry.

IMHO, stock or Widefire will work roughly the same with o-rings.
Bottom line make sure you are tuned properly and all will be fine.

As another data point, I've also used, quite sucessfully, Cometic gaskets with "O" ringed heads where the "O" rings were simply picked out.
And... I've used Cometic gaskets with "O" rings heads (with the "O" rings installed).
