Default Guess my whp

Ok I sent my car to get dyno tuned since I don't have any time anymore and I was wondering if you guys could give me an estimate of where my whp should be.

to get an estimate you'd have to post the psi you were running...

That would be my completely uneducated guess also, maybe just a bit more because of the headers.

added: I would be disappointed if it did not get that

350rwhp on 16psi on pump gas.i think 310 would be a little low.

Well the VR St III is rated often at about 310 hp @ 15 psi, so I'd say 300-310 is being a hair generous.

I would guess that any setup that will keep 15-16psi to redline, with enough air and fuel around, and the proper timing will give you 300 - 310 RWhp.

Hans - I don't know if I understand you correctly.
I am sure you know that a small turbo (like the stock) will be making much hotter, less dense air at 15 psi than the larger Vitesse stage 2 at redline on the same engine.

Offcourse, agree. The stock turbo will just produce heat if boost levels are increased. But also it does not maintain boost pressure to redline.

But I doubt that at 15 psi there would be a world of differences between the various turbos that can maintain boost, from our own experience this becomes part of the equasion at 18psi+

I can say with confidence that my current turbo at 12 psi makes more power than the k26 it replaced running at 16psi. A lot of this extra power comes from the lower backpressure on the hotside along with a denser air charge that a more efficient compressor can supply.

From past posts I believe the stage 2 should be around 300rwhp at 15psi on a dynojet. Other dynos may refect a 10hp +or- differents.
