Do you mean KLR chip ? If so, the original one was Intel's Ld2732a45.
You can use almost any C27 or D27 series eprom, newer might be faster, but they do work OK. All KLR chips are 24 pin chips. I have used newer & faster proms both on DME & KLR boxes without difficulties.
Do you still develope that S2 maf kit?

No - I'm looking for the type of the CPU (40 pin). There are several different versions with the same pin layout and I was just wondering if anybody knows the specific type. It would save me some time...
The MAF development is done for the 944, S, S2, turbo and for the 911 C1 and 964. You may find some recent dyno runs here - sorry, it is in German...

I also believe it is a variant of the intel 8051. Someone started a website dedicated to cracking the code, with useful info on the chip set. I have the link at home, but someone can probably point to it for you...
