No boost controller but there is a boost gauge. I did not do the work but I can get in touch with the guy who did it if you want.

Chuck.

I assume you have an ad elsewhere, such as Auto Trader? You might be better off getting it noticed by a more diverse crowd. (most of us here already have 1 or more 944's) I've noticed that track cars move quick on these boards, but the high quality cars take a while. Good luck! (Btw... $10.5 is a good starting point, you may have to dip a fair bit lower to get it sold quickly)

Ben (the PO) built that panel out of a 968 unit. It looks very nice in person.

If anyone has any questions about that car, I can vouch for it. Those were my Fikse's on the avatar pic, and I also did a compression test on it before Ben sold it, and it was a solid 150 across trhe board. If the head gasket was done on it, that engine should be very tight for quite a while, and the car is the best riding 951 I have ever driven (and I have driven a few!). I hope I can get mine to ride that good...

Regards,

Well...Scott...it is for sale...just think of the money you would save!

Thanks again for the help and for the update on the compression test! I was looking for info on it as Ben has either given me something or sent me an email about it.

Send me a PM if you get a chance, I may be interested in your turbo. A friend of mine recently crashed his car, and I am in the process of selling him my "project". At anyrate I will be looking for a good complete 951 in the near future. I would like to know what the exact mileage is and if you ever found the recipt for the clutch. Also, has the car ever been painted? And if you get a chance I would like to see a picture under the hood. I have been looking at a local car that is a good deal, but it has been painted, and that is a little bit of a turn off for me. At any rate pm me with some details when you have a moment, and if you could, I would like to know what offers you have entertained, and what you are willing to take.
Thanks,

Yup, it is just a 968 cubby drilled out to accept a 2" gauge. I did the same thing after ben showed me his fine work, and i was sold. It takes some bondo and black paint to bring up that small indent that the cubby has, so it looks like a flat surface, but it comes out great. sh944 and I know the car extremely well, so if anyone has any q's, just shoot a PM
