Rob, I'll be happy with 350 rwhp. If you can't put the power to the pavement
why have it. just my .02
David , John says that if the pump is isolated well it shouldn't be that noisey.
How is the beast running?

I'm going w/ the 928 GTS pump. A little bit more capacity than the LR one at about the same price. Sufficient for a Vitesse Stage 2.

Lindsey sell the Bosch HV fuel pump:
That is more than enough than you would ever need, and for $169.95.

We have had customers stating that it has supported as much as 504 RWHP on their vehicles.

Now if you have a fairly stock car and your FP dies, maybe look into that MB pump as a replacement.

That MB pump is rated at 128 liters per hour at 5 bar (max). (The STOCK 944 turbo pump flows 130 l/h @ 3 bar.)
The 928GTS pump is rated at 147 liters per hour at 4 bar (max).

I posted the above because i wouldn't need a 044 pump, since my goals are not so high, even that HV pump from Lindsey (supporting 460whp) would be exceeding my application, but that is what i would upgrade, since it did support 460whp (from Lindsey) and the price is very well suited as well.
Besides, everyone should be replacing the stock pump is they still have one, since mine runs weak when i have low fuel, and they are old and probably are not performing the way they should be. This HV Bosch unit is cheaper and better flowing (for HP goals) than the stock unit.

The Lindsey Bosch HV is a good stock replacement pump. Follow the link provided by Darklightening and you'll see the HV is only good to 400 crank HP.
The GTS pump would do but it costs almost as much as the 044, so it's a no brainer for me. I'll be getting the 044.

If it is closer to the price of the 044 then I'll go that route. I liked the GTS pump because it was cheaper (so I thought) and is almost the exact same size as the stock pump so fit is not a problem (no adapter like the 044, no wrapping it in extra tape to build up the diameter like the LR upgrade).

O.K., so more fuel is needed, but isn't the system limited by the smallest diameter in the system? A high flow fuel pump won't do anything if the regulator is the restriction, for instance...Where are the bottlenecks, and at what flows do they become a problem?
