Default need inclusive to-do pre-storage list

Hey Folks...

OK, it's been quite a while since I've posted, but I've been busy. I'm going to be heading to Officer Candidate School for the United States Marine Corps in January and I'd like to put the 951 in storage while I'm in Quantico getting my butt kicked.

Can you guys help me compile a list of things to do prior to putting my car in storage? It'll be mothballed for anywhere from 3 to 9 months and will have to be ready to go in a day or so once I can come back to get it.

Here's what I have so far:

good detail of interior and engine bay
clean & wax exterior
change oil (<--anyone recommend a weight?)
disconnect and trickle charge the battery
rodent-proof intake and exhaust
silicone on door, window & roof seals

Can someone suggest an storage oil?
Can someone suggest how to keep rodents out of the engine bay and interior?

Semper Fi,
Ian

Get a set of wheels (or tires) that you don't care much about since they might get flatspotted. Or place the car on jack stands.

Either fill the tank completely or make sure that there is as little fuel as possible in the tank when it is being stored.
