Default Lindsey Racing 3 Inch Exhaust Installed...WOW

All I have to say is wow. The sound is incredible, and the spool up time has been GREATLY reduced. At idle, if I rev the engine, I can hear the turbo spool from the tailpipe. It's really an amazing sound. I'm extremely happy with it. The car feels better than ever. I previously have the stock exhaust, with a hugely restrictive cat. Now i'm running no cat. converters, and it's 3 inches all the way. I'll get pics online as soon as I can. All I can say is THANKS DAVE!

my like 8 minutes lindsey exhaust video is out there. go to the videos thread.

its labeled footage for terry. Thats because terry at the time was looking at getting the lindsey 3inch exhaust system(which he did) and he wanted alot of out of car and in car footage to listen to...get a good idea of what it sounds like

its a old video but, its a full lindsey 3inch exhaust and 40series flowmaster mufller

I'd also like to know which muffler and if you went with a 3" downpipe as well?

I also have that exhaust, I got one Lindsey's own mufflers. I don't think they offer them anymore, but under boost it sounds like a race car and it was the only muffler that was straight through. Sounds great, quiet on the inside and mean on the outside.

I also recently installed the Linsey 3" exhasut, cat removal with Flowmaster exhaust....car felt great coming back home and sounded great........went to drive the car the next morning and of course the clutch went out so its been almost 1 month now since I have been able to drive the car. Anyway car is supposed to be ready after tomorrow and I have a dyno appointment this Saturday in case anyone is interested in what the gain will be. I'm also installing a 38mm Tial during the clutch job.....but I think this wont have any affect on HP....right?

the tial might affect the hp, not by adding it, but by helping to not lose any hp due to a weak stock wastegate spring...

in that case, you'll gain that hp that you've been missing (i assume the boost controller is set to run over 13.5)
