I would love to see you go this route, as stated by 951TurboEuroSpec. The thought of just using the 968 trim pieces WITHOUT the wing has crossed my mind many times. I'm a big fan of cars with smooth rear ends or with small spoilers integrated into the bodywork (think Ferraris, Astons, etc.)

Take a look at this thread for close-ups of the 968 hatch and wing, and you will see what I mean.

968 Wings

With your bodywork skills, I'm sure you can fab up something to cover the holes that will result due to the removal of the 968 wing.

If you fancy something more aggressive, maybe even "build up" the rear 968 trim piece with fiberglass so that it extends out more. Whatever route you decide, please post more pics. I like what you've done so far and keep up the good work.

On friday morning I went to the junk yard and got a 924 hatch for 24$. It mounted right on the car and needed no ajusting. The trim is straight but needs to be touched up. The M3 spoiler lip is on the way, I am going to mount it partly on the trim so as that it is flush with the end of the hatch, I think I wll have the metal hatch trim painted when the M3 lip is painted.

Here it is now fresh from the junk yard.

Smooth...I am telling you..you still need to go with the straight red-out tail lights(no smoke), the contrast will blow your mind

I like it. Post pics of the lip spoiler when it's mounted.

Yeah the red might be cool, At some point I want the top clear and the bottom red, the smoked ones were a quick easy thing to hold over until then.

I will do the rears some time after the the fronts wihich will have GT racing buckets and dual elipsiod lense xenons, high and low beems, they lights are hella units.

Dont bother with the GT Racing buckets. From someone who has had all the parts you are refering to (yes, even the Hella 90mm Xenons). DO NOT Bother with the GT Racing buckets.
