Talking Interested in Buying 944 turbo

So here's the deal...I currently own a gorgeous 1987 944. I've had it for a year now, but I'm looking for a little more speed. My dad owns two 944's, a 1990 turbo (fixer-upper) and a custom fiberglass twin-turbo. I'm looking for an affordable but MAINTAINED turbo. Don't try and rip me off I know the ins and outs of these cars, I've grown up around them. I know what to look for. I want a turbo that is in good condition. That means no engine problems and a nice body (inside and out), preferably an '87. I know I'm being picky but I will eventually find the car I'm looking for. If you think you have it msg me.

Welcome to Rennlist.

Out of curiosity, why would you prefer a 1987 over another year?

Sadly I don't have any pictures of the twin-turbo...yet. We named it the4 Black Mamba. My Uncle used to race it on the track until he bought another 944 to fix up so he sold it to my dad. My dad races it still from time to time but we can't find a track long enough to switch it into fifth gear! Its been lowered a bit, roll cage, racing seats and harness, cd player with JL audios in the back (back seats taken out of course), sunroof removed, custom fiberglass fenders and bumpers, new paint. It really is a beauty....I will have pictures up probably after christmas.

The reason I'm looking for an '87 is because I'm very familiar with them...but anything younger is alright too

he didn't say the fiberglass twin turbo was a 951

ps after reading it again do you mean, 2 n/a 944s, a 1990 turbo and a custom twin turbo (presumably a 911) or did you mean 2 944s, one being a 1990 turbo and one being a custom twin turbo?

edit: also, does it have a custom tranny or a custom gear set? 4th gear ends around 136ish....

I meant two 944's, one 1990 turbo and a custom fiberglass twin-turbo

edit: I'm almost positive the tranny is custom...not sure about the gear set. I will find out

I'm new to the forum...
That's what I was saying...anyone who knows 944's knows that a 944 turbo is a 951...most of the parts say 951 on them.
