Sounds pretty fair. I'm not upset about spending a whopping $30 on a new BOV

I replaced my BOV to the 996 unit about 2 years ago. How long do these usually last? My car runs 15psi. Is there a pattern at all on how long they last? I just went with this because it was $30, and I was tight on money at the time, but still needed a new one. I will eventually go with a billit one, or maybe even a GReddy or Turbonetics.

Thanks,
Matt

Anyway, as I understand it the Forge unit still has a thin diaphram that can fail. It comes with spares. The valve that I have the diapram is made of billet aluminum and the entire unit is sealed with O rings. Really simple and clean. Dave Lindsey has been running it on a car with 22 psi. of boost with no problems.
The Forge has no diaphram, it uses O -rings , you can get stiffer springs and it is serviceable.

Posting misinformation AGAIN, Pole.
The racing Forge unit in my car has no problem with 30 psi and it uses a rubber diaphragm.

Yeah the unit I bought from Lindsey uses an O-ring.

Doesn't forge give you extra diaphrams when you buy them. That and the 3 different springs that it came with were appealing to me.

I have a Bailey diverter valve for sale if you are interested. Here is a link: http://www.eurosportacc.com/diverter.htm

It to, like the one Lindsey sells, has a solid diaphragm. No rubber parts to crack and break. I had two so I don't need this one. How's $50 plus shipping sound. I paid over $130 for it.
