Default A couple pics of my 951.

Just wanted to show off a little! It has been two months and too much money but I finally got it on the road again. Took it for a drive this morning and it was nice to be in it again. The head gasket was blown, I think it was when I bought it, so it had to come apart. Did lots of powdercoating, cleaning, painting, and such. Replaced all the hoses and hose clamps. New AFM, rebuilt a K26/8, new timing and balance belt, rollers and such, water pump, rebuilt alternator and starter, new vacuum hoses, all sensors are new, welded in a v-band for the crossover, and had the headers, crossover, turbine housing, and downpipe all coated with the higher temp titanium coating. So...it shouldn't need much for some time. Thanks to those that helped with the problems I had and came here for help!

Chuck.

Got a new camera today so I uploaded a better pic.

soon...at least thats what I've been saying to myself for the past few months...

I really wanted to buy Ted's car, but it seems like that car sold the second it hit the market...clubracer6's car sounds interesting though it has a couple issues

also, with finals coming up here in a couple weeks I really won't be able to go get a car until mid-december at the earliest

I can't stand being without a p-car, I'm really starting to appreciate my old n/a more and more everyday. So what are you doing with your 951? Still going to put on the 968 rear and fix it up? Any plans for another car? I know you were talking about a supra...

I thought two months was a long time. Spent a lot of time waiting to find a good buildable head after the local machine shop broke mine and didn't fess up. I have always loved these cars ever since I had my 87 924S back in the early 90's. I don't care if some say they aren't a "real" Porsche, for me it is as good as it gets!

Yeah I have longed for a supra for quite sometime. I have a pretty good chunk of change just sitting in my account right now trying to find its way out.

turbo 968/supra/ect.ect.

I have decided to sit on the money for awhile until I really know what I want. It would be a shame to do something I would later regret.

I am still doing my 968 rear end. Infact thats why its still in the shop. Taking alot longer than I had hoped for but, doesnt every project. I plan on having the car back by the end of the year. I will post plenty of pics and video when its done.

Quick Reply: A couple pics of my 951.
