Wheel vibration
All,
I have owned 944's (2) for the past 20yrs. They have always had some type of wheel vibration. It was so bad that I purchased a high speed wheel balancer. The balancer cured most of the problem. It took me about 1/2 hr per wheel every couple of months. During my engine rebuild I decided to rebuild the control arm. What a difference! The car drive like it is new. I did the bushings and the ball joints and the caster blocks. I rate it about a 6 in difficulity.
