Default MAF tight fit

Really really tight.

So i was test fitting my MAF yesterday and found that the stopper on the headlight hits the air filter when the headlight is down. Is that normal? Anybody here have any tricks to solve this?

I cut that bracket off, the stopper on the right side serves as the stop for both sides now.

Do you have any issues with the headlight shaking when it is up?

No problems at all for 2 years now, don't remember who gave me the tip on cutting the bracket, but has been done before.

I rotated my housing on the MAF just a bit but yes, mine hits a bit. I just barely mashed in the filter a bit, no big deal, as it looks perfect from above.

depending on who makes it , how it is orintated and how big the filter is
you may or may not have clearance issues.
