Chances are pretty good that you've been ripped off and Danno paid his rent with your money. Try and contact John D. for help but Danno's a thief and very few actually get their money back. Hey Danno, I'm still waiting for that refund LOL.....

If I remember right Danno announced he was not going to be doing business any more on here a couple of months ago, at the same time that Guru stopped being Rennlist sponsors and Vitesse became sponsors. And I don't recall seeing him post on here since - so based on that I don't like your chances... :-/

Hope you paid with a credit card. If so, start chargeback proceedings. Your parts will either show up very quickly, or you'll get refunded by the credit card company. If you used Paypal, start a dispute with them, and you'll probably get similar results. When I bought chips from him, I used Paypal and waited around a month and half with no delivery. He quit responding to emails and PMs, so I started a Paypal dispute and the chips magically appeared a few days later.

this is sad, seeing as I really want to get a set of the v9 chips to test out as well

I really wouldn't bother. I could tell no difference performance wise between the Guru chips I bought back in the spring and the Vitesse chips I replaced them with. However, the Vitesse chips did idle a little better and seem to perform better at part throttle. Plus with John, you know you'll get your parts very quickly.

Let me say a few words in behalf of my friend Danno. 1st.) No, you have not been ripped off, that's the wrong term. You have been robbed. 2nd.) Danno is not a just a crook but a professional thief 3rd) I really hope you were a innocent victim, but not someone who had seen the warnings about danno on this board and ignored them, if that is the case you got what you deserved.

I can’t believe danno still has his website running, someone ought to report that to the authorities, it’s unfair to people who live in foreign countries.
