Yes I have, when my first kid was born, I was looking for a family car that's when I got to drive one.

About the turbo specs, from what I'm told from the seller, its a .70 A/R, and .60 on the exhaust side. This guy does everything custom, so I wouldn't be surprised if he had that custom fabbed too. I've never seen a T4 like that, but then again, there are so many, it could be out there for all I know...

Hallo all,

I am new to the forum too, but what I could never understand (in a lot of HP forums) is how you can start a seriouse turbo project without knowing:

o turbo specification
o compressor maps
o target working range
o at least having something know installed (Vitesse, Linsey, garrett GT...) to get a benchmark

I think those projects will most likley lead to changing turbo again after short time. As a starting point I would allways go for something which has proven to work and develop from than on. This is most likley to work from the beginning and has a chance to become a permanent/final solution. Starting with something totaly unknown means high risk and a lot of work and money that might be wasted. Certainly it is fantastic not to follow common roads but I would not do it for the start. Good luck anyway and maybe we can all learn from youe experience.

Nice Gixxer, Skunk. Great bikes... never riden one with boost though!

Hey, isn't it about time someone develops an anti-lag system on one of those things? Jim, are you game? ...Rolex?

I'll be awaiting a video of a 951 popping horribly off-throttle in WRC fashion

Good luck with the T4 Barry. Just because most buy kits doesn't mean you shouldn't. Bravo and good luck on the setup... just get those specs down or yank of those housings and pull out the calipers! The turbine A/R is usually cast into the housing.

Good luck.

Thanks. You should ... 182kg's ready to rock sans gas,(mine that is,not the stocker) and 270+ whp... addictive.

No,Tool,no dyno on that...but we made 243 to the wheel with a smaller turbo, 5 psi less boost and a 1080 cc instead of the 1342 that now resides in it,so likely it's more...thought I'd let you know so that you didn't have to spend time calling BS on me

Didn't I expect that.....

At peak hp,140.4 ft/lbs @ 9100 (243.3 whp) ...peak torque @ 7100rpm, 152.3 (205.9 whp)... 17.5 psi,1080cc,T4/T03- 50L A/R 0.48, 98 RON pump fuel.

Satisfactory?
